I too have been having problems with CD-RW disks. I'm using a PlexWriter 8/4/32A with Adaptec (Roxio) software. After a couple of weeks of backing up files, the CD-RW starts reporting various errors and soon becomes unreadable. For the moment I've simply switched to using a series of CD-R disks and have had no problems. I'd welcome any recommendations for reliable software and hardware that would enable me to use CD-RW with confidence for important backup duty.
