But, it won't be ready for your delivery tomorrow. Here's one way to do it. 1. Format the new drive in FAT32 format. 2. Copy everything from the old one to the new one using XXCOPY C:\ D:\ /CLONE (assuming the new drive in D:) 3. Put the new drive as the only (C:) drive. 4. Prepare a StartUp diskette using a Win98 (Win98SE is probably better) system from somewhere. 5. Using the diskette, boot into the Win98 environment with the CD-ROM support option, and into the command prompt. 6. Load the WinXP install CD on your CD-ROM drive (say, it is mapped as E:) 7. From the DOS prompt, run E:\...\I386\WINNT.EXE (or equivalent command somewhere) which will let you install a new WinXP. It should choose the C: as the drive letter and you should be able to install XP to the C: volume. Alternatively, you may try Norton Ghost (but this is not an endorsement -- I haven't used it for this purpose.) Or wait a while for our version of Win XP Clone utility. But, we don't know exactly how soon it will be ready... Kan Yabumoto
