My expertise in programming Windows batch files is limited, and all information, hints, tips are welcome. I'm gradually getting to grips with Xxcopy use within batch files (with much trial and error) and often copy sections of code from Xxcopy Digests to my 'ManualsAndTutorials' folder for possible later use, 'as is' or modified. For installing Xxcopy I conclude that double-clicking is fine some or most of the time, but not foolproof. Given that ^C and ^V don't work between a cmd box and elsewhere, I find that changing the folder in the cmd box is tedious and liable to error when the files are several folders deep. Should unzipping into C:\Temp be used with caution? [That folder can already contain loads of junk]. Ray
