Hello, I just joined this group and this is my first post.
I've been successfully using free xxcopy for some time to backup my 
win2K SP3 system. Then, perhaps after a version upgrade, the log file 
started reporting errors that I don't understand. Specifically, it 
says

Exclusion Items Optimization
D:\WINNT\? A 
directory with same name exist in the destination

with

Exit code = 102 (Exit code is the number of failures 
plus 100)

I don't understand what the error is--if there is an error-- nor what 
is this exclusion items optimization business. Can anyone explain? 
And how can I find out what the actual error is?

Log file attached. File g:\backup\exclude-d.lst is an empty file.
