Hi, I'm currently testing xxcopy pro on a couple of my Win 2k servers and I'm having problems with short file names. My (test) batch file just copies a couple files from one directory to another directory on the same disk: md \test md \test1 cd \test echo this is a test. > filename2.txt echo this is a test. > filename3.txt echo this is a test. > filename1.txt xxcopy filename1.txt \test1 /nx When I use this batch file on my XP workstation everything works fine, short file names are copied correcty. If I run the exact same batch file on my servers the short file names are just wrong (i.e regenerated instead of copied). I've been in contact with Kan Yabumoto about this already, but he was not able to reproduce the problem on his Win2K machines. Any ideas ? I've been trying three different version 2.82.9, 2.84.0 and 2.84.6.
