Help? Those files are normally hidden and you've probably got explorer settings that don't display hidden files. You can go into explorer->view->folder options->view (or the equivalent on XP) and set it to display hidden files. Or you can open a Cmd prompt window and type: dir a:\ /a However I'm not sure that what you're doing is correct in order to flash the bios. The steps you've described are for booting into XP when the normal boot startup fails. What is ususally required is a non-windows OS e.g. DOS or similar. If the documentation for flashing your BIOS says you need a DOS boot disk, go to http://www.bootdisk.com/ to get information and the appropriate image files for creating a DOS boot disk. Garry
