Hello group, I wish to copy a large number (a few thousand) of files from their current locations to the same path on another drive. I have them all in a list and a spreadsheet, so I can create a batch file with the appropriate command to run on each file. When I try, xxcopy d:\ z: Each file ends up in the root of z:. (The batch file is many lines with a different file on each line.) When I try, xxcopy d:\ z:\Each file gets put in a subdirectory with the same name as the file. Is there any way to get xxcopy to do this, short of parsing , removing the filename at the end, then putting it back together? Thanks, William
