The problem might be with the CD file system being unable to handle names with spaces in them. Which OS are you using? What packet writing software are you using? Can you copy these directories using explorer? Does the Xxcopy command work if you copy to another directory on the HDD e.g. xxcopy "c:\My Documents\" "c:\test\My Documents\" /clone /yy Try using the Xxcopy command with /BU instead of /Clone e.g. xxcopy "c:\My Documents\" "d:\My Documents\" /bu Garry
