Unfortunately, we do have to put up with it. Anyone can sign up for the list, and post their crapola. The only alternative would be to have people "moderate the list" by examining each message before it's posted. There's no way that's better, unless we had 50 or so people doing the moderating work (in different timezones). Better is to get even (sort of) -- forward the message to "abuse@y..." and the sender will have their Yahoo id banned. (But they can just set up another one; sigh.)
