No you can't use xxcopy to do this directly to the recycle bin due to the way the recycle bin is managed. There are other utilities I have seen mentioned that will do this. Of course there's no reason why you can't implement a personal recycle bin e.g. xxcopy c:\oldfiles\ /rcy/ed/pd0/po0 Garry
