I can confirm that /ILD doesn't work on my NT4 system either.

D:\temp>label h:
Volume in drive h is NEW-C
Volume Serial Number is 3F2B-E3DD
Volume label (11 characters, ENTER for none)?

Delete current volume label (Y/N)? n

D:\temp>xxcopy * h:\test\ /ildNEW-C/onxxcopy.log
