Hi TC, 1. Neither xxclone nor xxcopy transfer partition images. They are both file-copy programs. 2. As noted, xxclone is not relevant to what you are trying to do. If you tried to use xxclone (can only be run from an XP system drive) to transfer the W98 partition contents, it would overwrite the XP registry into your target partition and convert it into an XP partition. 3. You can simply run xxcopy under XP to transfer the contents of your W98 partition to a partition on your XP system, and then back again to your new drive (on the original computer).
