I know very little about disk management
I xxcloned original drive C:(Standard) to new drive G:(Maxtor); both 80 Gig
then I switched the cables on the two HDs
it didn't reboot, so I went the UGI and choose "Repair" and it booted

I want Maxtor for the boot drive (faster)
when I boot I get as in jpg 004s
when I right click on My Computer I get jpg 002s

where from here? don
