I don't think it explains why both xxcopy and xxclone stop processing when they try to copy this dll file, but as an interim procedure just wondering what happens if you try to temporarily remove that dll file from your hard drive, run xxclone, and then put it back on to both source and target. Would some other file stop it from running? One guess is that your hard drive is physically damaged at that location and you might do a surface scan??
