Version 2.86 is still in alpha development and is currently not
suitable for normal use. Basically this particular version
(2.86.4a) broke the date comparisons including the /BI switch
which is an integral part of the /BU command.

I suggest that you revert to version 2.85.3 until the alpha
version makes it to beta and becomes more reliable. If there
are particular features in 2.86.x that you need, I suggest that
you use 2.85.3 for regular xxcopy commands and a renamed copy
of 2.86.x for any specific features that are known to work
correctly.
