And just when I was begining to feel... strange and different. You know, creating an OS partition that could be completey rewritten ("Restored" forbid) in under 3min., by moving everything out of it that could be. Why, the very idea of restoring the part that goes wrong vs. switching complete drives was begining to feel... somehow wrong! Granted introducing an element of complication. (OMG, you have to Edit a Registry file to boot the copy!) Thanks! DES
