My BAT & XCF files have not been changed since I started using them in March. > > Any suggestions please? What exactly happens when you try to run the batch file? And if you go to a command prompt and type: xxcopy /? and press ENTER what happens? If you get an error something like the one below 'xxcopy' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Then either xxcopy is no longer installed, or has been moved, or you may have a problem in your path. From that same command prompt type PATH then press ENTER. The directory that xxcopy is installed in should be listed in the output of the path command. If it is not then you'll either need to add that directory to the path or use the full path to xxcopy in your batch file. e.g. C:\WINNT\system32\XXCOPY.EXE John
