And pendmoves tells me the appropriate key is empty as well (as I haven't put anything there yet!). Sorry, I'm hung up on details. Little things like is there a mechanism for specifying the Pending Renames\Deletions, and what differentiates them (rename to null for delete?) I mean, MoveFile says to me copy it to the destination and delete it from the source. (I know you said you hadn't actually used it yet.) But I see a potentially valuable tool here for maybe copying the registry components. (I wasted mucho time once finding out that Win32 was running before Startup & Shutdown Scripts were executed!) I'll write the author and let you know if he answers. Thanks again: DES
