Movefile.exe loads the HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager - PendingFileRenameOperations value as described in the above. And pendmoves.exe dumps this value back out for your edification. But nothing is copied\moved\whatever on re-boot. The registry value is deleted however! I'm out of ideas. I've made sure a Source & Destination file exist, used full paths, even tried it all from C: to C: in case everything wasn't mounted yet. Another dumb misunderstanding no doubt, but until that 1 word surfaces I'm stumped. DES
