I finally figured out what ZAP uses to determine what disk it's on. It's the VolumeID. Don't know if xxclone puttzes with this or not? For the life of me I can't remember what I had been using to read it (but fear that is deleted). Label.exe works (aborting any Lable changes). And Systinternal's VolumeID changes it fine. The Drive Letter assignments & Volume Lables (in the registry @ HKLM\System\Mounted Devices\), none of that will satisfy a copy of ZAP to start with it's Program Control intact. Get the VolumeID's the same and Bingo. DES
