Des, Thanks for your help and I also thank Eric Force. I had already downloaded volumeid.exe at Eric's suggestion. As it came with no instructions, I gave up trying to get it to work. As you suggested the same program , I finally put the proper spaces in the right place and zap the volume ID was changed. It worked perfectly and now my Netzero problem has been taken careof. Here is the instruction: (volumeid>C: 6e82-017b). If anything is out of place, it starts talking about hexadecimal formats and that is what happened the first time.
