That corresponds to various /BC options. It would make sense for xxclone to always create an MBR when there is no pre-existing MBR but since the xxclone process is unable to check whether there is a pre-existing MBR, the default approach has become one of requiring the user to specify whether an MBR should be written, rather than have a default approach that would overwrite a pre-existing MBR and cause potential unexpected problems for the user.
