There is no input text case control for xxcopy. Nor to the best of my knowledge does Windows differentiate between the various cases of file name text. In other words the following three files are all the same to Windows and therefore xxcopy. myfile.txt Myfile.Txt MYFILE.TXT I think there can be some situations particularly when writing to some older CD systems, where case becomes important, but again, not in selecting the files, in writing them. There are some utilities out there that you could use to generate a list of lowercase files, and then you could use xxcopy in a script to copy them. The one I use for things like that is a text editor called NoteTab Pro. John
