In the case of /clone, it includes the /zy parameter to delete extra files on the destination without prompting. If you inadvertently give an incorrect or misspelt destination, all the files in the destination will be deleted because they don't match the files in the source. The warning is a reminder to make sure the destination is correct. For any xxcopy command that does issue a prompt, you can type ? in response and xxcopy will list the parameter needed to suppress that prompt. In the case of /clone, you can use /pz0 e.g. xxcopy c:\ b:\ismd\ /clone/pz0 Garry
