Ok Des, appreciate the explanation, and I *think* I'm getting the hang of this now (slowly!). What I'm about to do then is take the original target drive and perform the instructions in MS Knowledge Base artice 2493221. I think I can follow option 3 the best which also involves using artice 223188. I believe this is the massaging you were refering to. Correct??
