I have re-installed Windows, and want to add back all the files in windows, windows\system, etc which are in my backup copy of the harddrive (e.g. dlls added with install of other software). Since some of the OS's files were corrupted, I do not want to copy ANY file from the backup to the new install if it has the same FILENAME, irrespective of the size or date. XXcopy sees a file with same name and different size or date and wants to overwrite it during the copy process. How to I circumvent this - no copy if filename is the same, period.
