I've since learned that cookies are in the cookies folder (surprise!) and what's in the Temporary Internet Files folder is only a pointer to the actual cookie. So now the question is, does a web site recognize a cookie if it's in the Cookies folder but there's no "pointer" to it in the Temp Internet Files? Seems like I can actually test that myself... I'll let me know! DES
