Garry Deane finally got it register with me that you can get the same effect with 2 passes. Since exclusions only apply to the Source, on the second pass reverse the Source & Destination and use /RS. Then apply your "now Destination" Exclusions accordingly. Some other switchs come into play, I have /RSY/PD0/BZ/ED/S/Q in addition to log file specs and exclusions when looking across my network of 2. In words, first copy what's to be updated in the forward direction. Then remove what is selected for copy in the reverse direction with the exception of exclusions. I also want Inclusion File capability. Finally recognizing that it will save me much multiple xxcopy invocations via batch files. DES
