All you need to do to kill the XXCLONE process in Task manger is via the "Processes Tab" highlight XXCLONE and then mouse-click on "End Process" [near the bottom right-side of the Task Manager dialogue] which will invoke a warning dialogue to which you respond accordingly. That's what I did and it works just fine.
