Thanks for your reply Rotaiv. Excuse my ignorance. Two days ago I didn't even know that xxcopy was available. I'll search the archives for information, but according to what you said it wouldn't help me much. What other method would you suggest for a complete backup? I use OS/2 mostly and xcopy with switches /h/o/t/s/e/r/v gives me a complete backup. Unfortunately it doesn't work on Windows.
